Why We Built Calquto
Calquto started from a simple frustration: most calculator websites are cluttered with intrusive ads, slow to load, or require digging through pages of fluff just to find a simple answer. We wanted to build something different — a clean, fast, genuinely useful collection of tools that respects your time and, just as importantly, your privacy.
Every calculator on Calquto runs entirely in your browser. We don't store your financial figures, health information, or any other data you enter into a tool. You ask a question, you get an answer, and that's the end of it.
What We Offer
Calquto covers a growing range of categories, including finance and budgeting calculators (mortgage, loans, savings, retirement), health and everyday tools (BMI, calorie needs, age calculation), developer utilities (JSON formatting, regex testing, color tools), SEO and text tools (meta tags, readability, word counting), and date and time calculators. We also build tools around real-life decisions that are often underserved elsewhere — like comparing job offers, estimating true moving costs, or calculating freelance rates.
We're actively expanding the toolset. If there's a calculator you wish existed but can't find anywhere, that's exactly the kind of tool we want to build next.
Our Approach
Fast by default
No heavy frameworks, no unnecessary scripts — just fast-loading, responsive tools.
Privacy-first
Your inputs stay in your browser. We're not in the business of collecting your data.
Always free
Every tool on Calquto is free to use, with no account, signup, or paywall.
Genuinely explained
Each tool includes a clear guide on how the math works, not just a bare input box.
A Note on Accuracy
We take care to use standard, well-established formulas in every calculator (like the IRS federal tax brackets, the Mifflin-St Jeor BMR equation, or standard loan amortization formulas), and we cite our methodology directly on each tool's page. That said, our tools provide estimates for general informational purposes — they're not a substitute for professional financial, medical, tax, or legal advice. See our Disclaimer for more on this.
